Following on from last year I am doing another 365 project this year and hope to continue the learning curve...

A year in pictures montage, thanks to Clive for the inspiration :D

A little experiment in trying to become a better photographer... A picture every day for a year, fingers crossed :)

For some odd reason I like to try and make my fingers fall off whilst taking pictures of snow and ice. Given that we will easily get temperatures below -20 celcius this winter I do sometimes worry about my sanity but I do find the forms, structures and textures of snow and ice incredibly beautiful.

Photos from the Abadszalok erosemberek (strongman) competition.... We had to cycle 40km in total to get there and back as we have no car at the moment but had a superb day that bought memories of watching the worlds strongest man ompetition when I was younger :D

Certainly a day of three parts, it was a beautiful morning temperatures over 30 degs centigrade and then we went shopping and it was still lovely.

Our friends were heading back to the UK after a short visit to their home here so we thought we would heada to the pub with them to say ttfn, and then all hell broke loose.

Here are just a few pictures of the storm that hit, it was too intense to take pictures during the storm, we were driving and had roads blocked because of fallen tree. I also thought that electricity cables only came down in disaster movies, it really does happen, I had to scream stop and Julie slammed on the brakes and we aquaplane a little and stopped about 2 meters shy of a live electricity cable :o

I may get some of these later in the year but this is our little village getting bzzed by either crop dusters or mozzie sprayers

I would love to say that no fruit or veg were harmed during the taking of these pictures but I would be telling a fib...

I quite like the idea of juxtaposing abstract ideas with the fruit and vegetables that we grow at home, to me it makes them much more interesting, stay tuned for lots more fruit and veg bashing!!!

We live in a very flat place so the Landscapes do not offer a great deal of aesthetic interest, the sky on the other hand very much do...
